Review of Grosse Pointe Blank (1997) by Sonia S — 04 Apr 2012
Loved this film; probably one of it's first: a cool, sleek comedy based around charm and machismo. John Cusack is the nonchalant badass Martin Blank, an assassin who is visiting his old flame at his high school reunion.
One of the first films to blend comedy with action, and some vintage tunes to wash it all down [who doesn't love The Clash?]. I would recommend this movie to anyone, unless you just hate John Cusack [or any of his family members].
