Review of Grosse Pointe Blank (1997) by Gaspar O — 17 Feb 2013
I've been wanting to see this ever since I caught an episode of Inside the Actors Studio with John Cusack, and the audience squealed with delight when this film was mentioned. I love John, huge fan, but this was far from one of his best performances.
It was just kind of a mess. But hey, Piven's in it, hell the whole cast is superstars, there's some decent action, a bit of romance and a couple laughs thrown in for good measure. It's watchable enough, but definitely not worth all those cheers.
