Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Julian D — 22 Nov 2008
Timothy Treadwell's story is a vey interesting one. The footage he collected of the bears and the Alaska wilderness is breathtaking. Its Herzog's direction and commentary that I found unnapealing.
I really could care less what his interpretation of Treadwell's relationship with bears was. What Herzog thinks he sees in the eyes of a bear is not the end all, be all. I wanted to make my own judgment.
Worth a watch, though.
