Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Catherine G — 24 Mar 2009
Excellent documentary about an intriguing, and at times disturbing, man, who feels he is more at home and accepted in the animal kingdom than the human world. Beautiful scenery, excellent soundtrack, and some truly moving wildlife footage together with interviews with some genuinely strange people, piece together the life and death of this misunderstood tragic character.
Compelling viewing, made even better by one of the best special features I've seen on a DVD ever. An hour long, behind the scenes look at the recording of the music for the film, which is, in itself, a wonderful piece of work with some inspiring moments of musical creation.
