Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Jeff C — 18 Apr 2010
This is a documentary of Tim Treadwell as he lives with the grizzly bears in Alaska. The footage in the movie is amazing. Tim continually gets extremely close to bears and other wildlife as he attempts conversations and even names all the animals as though they were children.
But to do this, he crosses the line from a simple observer to an active participant in the bearâ??s lives. As the years continue, his obsession became extremely emotional, boarding on psychotic. In the end, how close is too close?? I guess Tim found out.
