Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Tuukka P — 12 Jul 2012
A haunting documentary about Timothy Treadwell who after spending 13 autumns with Grizzly Bears in Alaska is killed by one of them in 2003. Werner Herzog uses the footage shot by Treadwell on his lasf few trips to paint a picture of a man who is clearly somewhat off balanced but seems to have a genuine love and affection towards these animals.
Ths one stays with you long after the credits have rolled.
