Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Richard F — 27 Feb 2013
This was gripping and moving and probably one of my favorite docs. I honestly found myself falling in love with Timothy Treadwell. I honestly don't believe that Treadwell had any mental illness at all, because I honestly get where he is coming from.
Being a human being is often a very shitty thing and this guy just really liked bears and wanted to be one, so what? The story is a little outdated but as animal rights issues is as evident as ever, it isn't irrelevant.
" Alas Timothy Treadwell is not gay, bummer!" This guy says some really great stuff. Also, Werner Herzog had no business making this film.
