Review of Grizzly Man (2005) by Amy W — 01 Dec 2009
Anyone who has seen this, is aware of the fact that this film is centered around an individual who is literally, and completely INSANE. If you don't agree with that, than chances are, that you have some issues of your own to work on. Regardless, this is an AMAZING documentary.
Werner Herzog is the man for putting this together. He watched, listened to, and sifted through hundreds of hours of recorded documentation to put this thing together. It definitely paid off. While it kind of sucks what happens to Treadwell (and his girl) in the end, there are still plenty of hilarious moments within to keep you from tearing at the seams in despair. I've watched the whole thing, as well as the making, a few times, and I am awestruck through and through!
