Review of Grindhouse (2007) by Nick M — 28 Jul 2011
I do admit that Grindhouse seems like it would have been fun to go to, you know go see a movie, but not just a movie, a double feature. & i've never been to a double feature, they sound really fun.
Mostly just because i'm a nut for films. But it also seems like this one specifically would be fun to go to, because I love both Tarantino & Rodriguez's stuff. I thought it was interesting though because they're both such different directors, & both of the movies different in their own ways.
But I thought it was kind of cool how they had people from Planet Terror in Death Proof too. But they're so different because Tarantino kind of likes those old type of shoot em' up movies with lots of smart & witty dialogue, & Rodriguez likes the more crazy action sequences with loads of blood & smart remarks.
The reason why I gave it 100% is because together I think the movies would be great together.
