It's good to see that this movie has received so much positive appraisal on this site. Based on what I've seen in general, most people are familiar with the dvd release of "Grindhouse" and not the theatrical version which I find to be a shame.
I am one of the few who have seen the theatrical version of this film and let me tell you, it was the most fun I have ever had in a movie theater. The energy in the room was unbelievable, I felt like I was at a rock concert.
But much to my dismay when the dvd release came out both "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" were sold separately and the fake movie trailers, which is what made the film, were scrapped.
If you want to see the movie trailers at all, you have to watch them on youtube. It's so unfortunate because it's extremely underrated do to the current dvd version.
