Planet Terror.
This was what I expected. It's really hard to rate these movies as they are designed to mimic over the top sci-fi action movies. Was the acting great? If the actors were trying to be bad actors then I guess it was. Were the effects cheesy? Absolutely, but that was the goal of the film. So I'm just going to say this, film was fun to watch, not for everyone.
Death Proof.
After watching Planet Terror I was really looking forward to Death Proof, what an amazing title. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed and bored. If I knew it was going to be a showcase for stunts, this review might be different, but the first half of the movie is filled with so much dialog that I almost wanted these people to die. Now the conversations were well written and somewhat entertaining, but had nothing to do with the story so I lost interest, fast. This film features an amazing car chase scene which is worth watching, but that is all you will get out of this film.
