A great homage to classic grindhouse films while being a entertaining, yet long, double feature. I preferred Planet Terror more than Death Proof, as PT was entertaining as hell while Death Proof was rather disappointing.
The trailers in between were pretty cool and some I wish were real. The scratches and grittiness were a nice touch, although they seemed to be missing from most of DP. Planet Terror is a fast paced action packed film, while Death Proof slows down and spreads the action some throughout.
Hardcore violence, classic actors, and plenty of gore. It has more than enough bang for your buck.
