Planet Terror is excellent - Freddy Rodriquez and Rose McGowan are perfect in their roles, and it's just a hell of a lot of fun. Death Proof is flat out boring. It brought nothing at all to the table except a really fun car chase, but in a vacuum - which Death Proof is, a car chase doesn't cut it.
So go see Planet Terror, check out the previews that follow, then hit the exits.
