I'm a fan of both directors! I like both equally for 2 reasons, pure fun and excitement. QT simply did what he is known for: Crazy Dialogue and unexpected endings. Only A quality actors are able to perform in such films as genius as Death Proof.
Rodriquez is imaginitive, innovative, and versatile director. From Hostel to Spy Kids geez he has director chops. Go see this movie for fun and entertainment. There is nothing profound or discovitory.
It is pure fun, enjoyment and you will laugh your tail off. QT in my opinion has not had a bad movie yet, not even mediocre. Give him his credit and chill.
