Review of Griff the Invisible (2011) by Sean P — 15 Nov 2011
Ehh.
Not really what I was hoping for.
The romance definitely could have used some work, too.
But I get why they went where they did.
Its cool that at times it acts like an old-school superhero flick.
Plus it has us question whether we want to stay in the reality we are living in or resort to another one to feel belonged.
The superhero bits arent the big selling point here, its more of the psychological notes it hits.
Fighting lonelieness and alienation is a good thing to touch upon, though the film short and kooky; not anything epic but a nice watch regardless.
