I will give the film lots of credit for its excellent sets and costume design and the rainforest sequences. on the other hand, there is the rest of the movie none of which is the least bit entertaining.

christopher lambert and andie macdowelll might have been the worst acting screen couple till jessica alba and anyone she shares the screen with. the movie even drags down the usually reliable ian holm with a horrific accent.
