Review of Greyhound (2020) by Maddad — 24 Jul 2020
Intense war movie but unfortunately the average Hollywoodian glorification of the american navy against the usual villian. I read a lot about the WW2 naval warfare and especially UBoot war and the presentation in this movie is simply very wrong on most levels.
It is sad as it could have been a good movie. German UBoots would never attack that way, not seek radio contact nor surface so close to a destroyer, nor shoot at them with a deck gun from so close.
