Finally got to see this. Was a mix of slow horror and celebration of eccentricity. Quite amazing how they got close to Edie and Edith. Worth seeing for Edie's fashion sense. Also the feature that comes on the Criterion DVD - check it out - lovely story about what happened to the house after Edith died.
