Life is indeed stranger than fiction. This legendary documentary pulls back the curtain on the eccentric, wistful and strangely Havisham-like world of aging mother & daughter Beales. Both fading beauties from an upper-crust privileged society family are seen through the film-makers' camera.
It's difficult to watch but impossible to turn away.
