Review of Grey Gardens (1976) by Tyler M — 07 Jun 2007
A fascinating movie about decay in many senses. Some of the scenes are little too long and too similar. I have realized, though, that making documentaries the Maysles Bros. way is pretty easy: just film a potentially interesting subject (travelling Bible salesmen, a deadly Stones concert) and then edit it down to the best 90 minutes.
