Review of Grey Gardens (1976) by Dave G — 22 Dec 2009
Grey Gardens is a look into the lives of the two of Jackie O's relatives as they open up there decaying mansion in the Hamptons for the world to see. Expertly shot documentary is a great example of what society can turn people into, this being one of the most extreme cases.
The Beales do have a lot of charisma which makes the film highly enjoyable and little Edie has gone on to become an hero to the fashion world for her abstract sense of style. Highly recommended.
