Review of Grey Gardens (1976) by Quinto W — 06 Jan 2009
These women's lives are two fantastic and depressing trainwrecks you can't keep your eyes away from; and it was also a saddening experience for me after I discovered how much I related to them and felt a personal connection to them, which is possibly the worst thing I have ever felt in my entire life.
You try to laugh just to take some seriousness away from it, but the fact remains that these were real people and it's almost painful to see them.
