Retro review, part 2:
Of course, I saw this way back when, but we just watched it again with Benjamin(who LOVES it).
This movie is a great time as long as all logical thought is thrown out the window. I found myself wondering how the Gremlins would be able to do the things they do right after hatching. Start a tractor? Sing Christmas carols? Know how to disable a cars brakes?
Reasoning aside, it really IS fun. The creature effects still hold up, Phoebe Cates is still cute, and it counts as a Christmas movie(in the Die Hard fashion) for taking place at Christmas time. Bonus!
