Review of Gremlins (1984) by Severin M — 21 Sep 2011
The sequel's even better, but this is mainly important for being the first fully-Dante film. The movie where all of his quirks and style came into fruition. Little plot holes aside (whatever happened to Billy's friend, the one who spilled water on Gizmo?), Gremlins nonetheless remains a classic of its kind.
Worth seeing for anyone who likes to have fun. Also has my favorite score by Jerry Goldsmith.
