I always want to like this more than I do But the premise of cute little animals turning into monsters because people don't really take care of them properly and then dying for it upsets me. I'm bothered how quickly Billy is all "sure, totally run lab tests on this cute little furry guy I just created for you", and the blood drawing upsets me tremendously.

Stripe's death is also just excessively long and gross. Given all of that I feel like the 3 stars is an overrating, but Gizmo is really very cute, and I'm pleased that the dog doesn't die.
