Review of Gremlins (1984) by Joel B — 16 Dec 2015
This is a movie that I have fond memories of, having first seen it as a child. I thought that Chris Columbus, the writer, did a great job, and felt his absence in the much colder-toned sequel. Joe Dante did a superb job of directing, and I always saw this movie as fun.
I think we all loved the moment when Mrs. Deagle gets her just desserts! It has some thrilling and gruesome moments, and the puppets are much more convincing than in the vastly inferior sequel.
