Review of Green Zone (2010) by Brian R — 02 Jul 2011
I love films that search for the truth but is identified as anti-American or anti-political/anti-war...
One of the best's of 2010. Paul Greengrass "The Green Zone" clearly explains that America should not have invaded Iraq, that the CIA and the US troops were given false information of WMD while the troops is hanging out in the wind. Greengrass also shows the Iraqi people as normal citizens caught in the confusions of war. A man named Freddy (Khalid Abdalla) works with Roy Miller (Matt Damon) who wants to help but for the truth since he has love for his country of Iraq. The rest of the story gets very interesting and it's an honest protrayle of the Invasion of Iraq and the mislead information we did not know from 2003 onward. Paul Greengrass's picture is an accomplishment that would make Bush green with envy.
