Make no mistake, Paul Greengrass is the greatest action director in the world today. No director in the new millennia has been so pathetically duplicated. Green Zone (aka Bourne 4) is not as visceral or engaging as The Bourne Ultimatum, but it maintains his trademark shaky-cam and intense visual stimuli that you come to expect from the ridiculously talented UK filmmaker.
The subject material may be too close to home for American viewers, but those who give Green Zone a chance will be rewarded with an entertaining and non-political look at the Iraq conflict.
