Review of Green Zone (2010) by Dc E — 07 Feb 2012
Above average, but pretty standard as far as modern war movies go. "Green Zone" isn't bad, but isn't anything to write home about.
Matt Damon plays a military officer who starts questioning why they are not finding any WMDs in Iraq. Along the way, he uncovers a nefarious plot and is not sure who to trust. Sounds pretty familiar, right? It should. We have seen this story 100 time already.
The battle scenes were solid, at least ... and Damon is serviceable. These two factors stop this movie from being merely average and gains the movie a half star more than I initially wanted to give it.
