Review of Green Zone (2010) by Benjamin R — 06 Apr 2012
Everything in this film is quite good. The acting, camera work, technical details, plot and thrill level all tick good boxes, but I was left feeling a little unsatisfied. I liked this film, but didn't love it; and when you stack it up against the likes of Black Hawk Down, there's only ever going to be one winner.
It tries to mix two genres of thriller-political and action- and in the process it compromises its potential had it just stuck to one.
