Review of Green Zone (2010) by Jonathan D — 18 May 2012

I've never been disappointed by a Paul Greengrass movie. As often, he takes a dry documentary take on his subject, loaded with realism and hand held cameras to down play the melodrama. This looks at the early weeks of the Iraq war from the perspective of an officer on the ground who is assigned to take over sites which are believed to contain WMO.

As he doesn't find them, he opens up a political investigation and gets caught between rival factions in the state department and intelligence forces.
