Review of Green Street Hooligans (2005) by Hannah W — 23 May 2009
In the best movie I've seen all week, Elijah Wood moves to the Shire (er, I mean ENGLAND), and joins a rough soccer gang, gets into fistfights, and drinks lots of pints. Everything is great about it - the writing, the acting, the direction.
I can't believe I waited 4 years to see it. It's also one of those great movies where a main character dies in the end, and another finds redemption. Just heard they made a shitty, straight-to-video sequel with none of the original cast, DON'T SEE IT!
