Review of Green Street Hooligans (2005) by Aaron K — 26 Sep 2009
Other than the fact that Claire Forlani annoyed me to no end in every scene that she was in, this movie was great good. Elijah Wood did a solid job holding up his end as a transplanted American in the UK and the accents were not impossible to understand either.
The whole West Ham/Millwall conflict surfaces in real life to this day (there was just an incident a few weeks ago in a Cup match) so this helped shed a little light on what happens "behind the scenes" in football.
It is worth your 108 minutes of life. Give it a shot if you enjoy football and/or a quality UK case study.
