Review of Green Street Hooligans (2005) by Christopher W — 27 Mar 2011
A raw, gritty depiction of the hooliganism culture that is prevalent throughout the football (soccer) world of England and most of Europe. A great film, but it's still difficult to buy into Elijah Wood as a tough guy.
A must see for any football fan familiar with the "firms" of the English Premier League. Loosely based on the non-fiction novel, "March of the Hooligans: Soccer's Bloody Fraternity," by Dougie Brimson.
