It's fight club without the philosophy. You have your jack, a british tyler durden, and the gang fights. You also have a surprising bit of melodrama thrown in there that could make or break the movie depending on your taste.
On a personal note, I loved how they make fun of american baseball, calling it a "pussy" game. I couldn't agree more!
