If you're looking for a film about football (or soccer) you're going to be severely disappointed. Green Street Hooligans isn't about sports at all, it's about firms and families and the sense of belonging to something tangible and real.
It's also about machismo and man's self-destructive nature and how hard it is to make Elijah Wood look tough and menacing.
