Review of Green Room (2016) by Phillip S — 29 Apr 2016
Despite Patrick Stewart not having as big of a role here as I wanted him to, it's an extremely suspenseful chamber piece. Stewart gives off a very menacing and unique performance, but it's not the strong villain I was hoping the movie to focus on and substitutes for his minions just hunting down the band members.
Jeremy Saulnier establishes tone in the best unsettling way and never strays from it throughout the entire duration making "Green Room" the paranoid and unique thriller it is.
