Review of Green Room (2016) by Diggity H — 24 Apr 2017
Sometimes a movie doesn't need to be complex or insightful to be really good. This is one of those. The characters aren't making dumb move after dumb move, they are trying to make the best decisions they can in such a scary, dreadful situation.
I'm a sucker for backwoods movies when it is not shown in a corny, cheesy manner and is shown in a gritty authentic manner, this does that. It's a white knuckle thrill ride that made me tense almost the entire movie.
The acting was terrific, Imogen Poots being the stand out, she's a backwoods badass. I'd see it again to watch her role. Enjoy.
