Review of Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) by Marlan M — 01 Aug 2009
Thankfully explaining away Hal Jordan's receiving of the ring within the first ten minutes or so, the film shoots off into the stars for a colorful, if not very original, story of one man's drive to prove himself amongst a very alien backdrop.
Alas, the villain is predictable, as is the lack of concern about him until the very end. Still good fun for fans.
