Review of Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) by Jason B — 13 Aug 2009
The Green Lantern has always been my favorite superhero so when I heard the animated film was coming out I was excited but a little nervous all at the same time. Thankfully, I was no disappointed.
As far as animated films go this is hands down the best animated superhero movie I have seen to date. I would even say it stands up against any live-action superhero film.
The animation and voice acting is top notch. They dump you right into the Green Lantern universe almost right away and do a very good job of carving out Hal Jordan's character. If I had one complaint it would be that 77 minutes was too short of a film length as I could have easily sat through someone twice that length.
