Review of Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (2011) by Ian R — 02 Jul 2011
I thought this was a well put together film. I like how it weaved the anthology stories into an over-arching main story. I think it worked really well. And the stories were pretty well adapted from their source material.
Out of all the stories, I greatly enjoyed Laira's story. I think it had the most heart and depth behind it. I also enjoyed the adaptation of the "Rookie Kilowog" story, which matched pretty decently with what they did it comics last year, and it was nice to see "Mogo Doesn't Socialize" get adapted.
Also, Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan was a good "cool factor" piece of the film. Overall, an enjoyable watch for any GL fans.
