Review of Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (2011) by Calvin K — 06 Jul 2011

A great collection of stories about The Corps. The stories here are all top notch and they have some intense action and story to them. And the action is even as revved up as it was in First Flight. Kilowog's and Laira's stories really bring it with both heart and pure raw power of the Lanterns.

And the story of The First Lantern....WOW! That fight sequence even brought back memories of Epyon chopping an entire colony in half. As for voice actors, they are pretty good. A shame Christopher Meloni couldn't return as Hal, but he only serves as a framing device for the movie.

Deegan really steals the show with his part in Kilowog's story. He is one of those leaders you can't stand being under, but you owe your life to and thank him for what he put you through. I was looking forward to this DC Animated movie and it did not disappoint.
