Review of Green Lantern (2011) by Vinicius M — 21 Apr 2013

The most disappointing thing about the movie, is seeing that the same director that brought us one of the best 007 film, couldn't bring us the same potential. The directing itself misses great opportunities, with a somewhat popular cast, having pretty much Mark Strong's only likeable acting in this in favor of the film.

It's a waste of time, for the audience, and a waste of money, maybe being close to Batman & Robin, as the worst superhero film. The effects for the uniform is bad, the mask is so weird visually, the story could be cut into two film, one being Green Lantern on Earth and then having a second movie have him fighting for Oa.

A lack of imagination as for the use of the Hal's power.
