Review of Green Lantern (2011) by Jeffrey H — 14 Jun 2013
You know, revisiting this movie after realizing to not take it seriously really made it a better experience. Accept the fact some things are quirky because that is how it is supposed to be. It is a change from childhood to manhood. A change from expectations to realization and that is what the story is really about. To accept change (fear) and let it power you. I really enjoyed it the second time around. Truly this movie should be at least around 65%. It is not terrible by any means. The actors do well though the script may be thin, the delivery is solid.
I'd say give it another try with green tinted glasses, it may help.
