Green Lantern actually exceeded my expectations. It wasn't a steaming pile of crap, just mediocre and managed to be mildly entertaining. Noone is going to take this movie seriously short of fans of the original material, its absurd fantasy fun.
So I judge it on that basis: it was fun.
