I really don't know why this movie gets such a bad rap. Maybe too many geeks complaining about character assassination, or maybe some of the nerds don't like that it breaks the DC Bible in some way.

Who cares? All you need in any super hero film is an opportunity for the hero to flex his skills, go at it with a villain or two, and get some play with a hot girl. If you want the superhero, villains, or whatever to form, go read your comic books.

Not the best super hero movie (I'll leave that up to XMen), but it was serviceable. And my son and I enjoyed it just fine, thanks. As a matter of fact, I've seen it several times. So there, haters!
