Review of Green Lantern (2011) by Al V — 02 Apr 2016
This movie had a lot of potential & Warner Bros. blew it. How do you give the Green Lantern, a "cloud" as a villain? "Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer" already made that mistake & they repeat it? More focus on Oa & the Green Lantern Corps probably would've made the story way more interesting.
It also didn't help that this movie was a stand alone while "Thor" & "Captain America: The First Avenger" we're taking the MCU to another level. Hopefully, the next Green Lantern will compliment the greater DCEU.
