I was expecting an absolutely terrible, painfully cheesy comic book movie, and I ended up genuinely enjoying it. What makes this movie is the visuals - if you have any interest in incredible 3D and special effects work, then you will definitely get your money's worth.
However, be warned that every single romantic scene, as well as a handful of others, are PAINFULLY CHEESY. Let the cheese do its thing, let the visuals blow your mind, and I bet you'll enjoy it too.
