Not a bad attempt at the Green Latern mythos, but could have been much better. They should have just adapted Geoff Johns' Secret Origin storyline. That would have been much more successful not only in quality of an origin story, but would have set up an eventual sequel to expand the massive cast of the Green Latern Corp.
Starting with Parallax as the villain was too much to soon. Best part of the movie is Mark Strong as Sinestro. He nailed that character dead on, and if we ever get to see another Green Lantern flick, he's about all I would want back from this one.
