Review of Green Card (1990) by Jens T — 20 May 2011
Peter Weir's comedy Green Card is the story about the french immigrant Georges (Gérard Depardieu) who is gonna get his green card if he sucseed if he can show that his marriage with Bronte (Andie MacDowell) is something more than just an excuse to let him stay in the U.
S. But as all other romatic comedies, two very diffrent people falls in love after many quarrels. Green Card isn't a bad movie, but it does feel long from time to time, but some good laughts are there.
